Terms of Service

These terms apply to all orders placed on hookandbracket.co.uk. Please read them before placing an order. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. About us

Hook & Bracket is a trading name of NL, a sole trader registered in Hungary under registration number ???, with its address at Hajós utca 31, 1065 Budapest, Hungary. You can contact us at hello@hookandbracket.co.uk.

2. Our products

We make every effort to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours may look slightly different depending on your screen, and natural materials such as wood vary in grain and tone. Dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly. Where a finish imitates a material, for example "walnut finish", this describes the colour, not the material.

3. Prices

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and are the total price you pay, including delivery to UK addresses. If we discover an obvious error in the price of an item you have ordered, we will contact you before your order is dispatched, and you may cancel the order for a full refund.

4. Orders

When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received it. Our acceptance of your order takes place when we email you to confirm that it has been dispatched, at which point a contract is formed between us. If we cannot accept your order, for example because an item is out of stock, we will tell you and you will not be charged, or you will be refunded in full.

5. Payment

Payment is taken when you place your order. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers; we do not store your full card details.

6. Delivery

We deliver to UK addresses only. Delivery times and conditions are set out in our Delivery information. If your order has not arrived within 30 days of purchase, please contact us and we will send a replacement or refund you in full. The items become your responsibility once they have been delivered to the address you gave us, and they belong to you once we have received full payment.

7. Cancellations and returns

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it. Full details are set out in our Returns and refunds policy.

8. Faulty items and your legal rights

We are under a legal duty to supply products that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If an item is faulty, please contact us and we will help. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9. Fitting and use

Our products are designed to be fixed to a wall. Please use fixings suited to your wall type and to the weight you intend to hang or place on the product, and follow any instructions supplied. If in doubt, ask a qualified professional. We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation or by fixings that are not suited to the wall.

10. Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for business losses. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights.

11. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event is likely to delay your order significantly, we will contact you, and you may cancel for a full refund.

12. Your personal information

We use your personal information only as set out in our Privacy Policy.

13. Intellectual property

The content of this website, including text, images and our logo, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied without our permission.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one shown on our website when you placed it.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of those countries. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at hello@hookandbracket.co.uk and we will do our best to resolve it.
